O Blessed Lord,
crucified for our sake,
look upon us and grant us your grace.
Help us to overcome our sinfulness
and conquer our pride;
give us a share in your cross
so we may embrace that same humility
which made you obedient to the will of the Father.
All praise and honour to you,
Lord Jesus,
for your going to the cross for our salvation,
may you blessed and praised forever.
