How blessed you are, O Holy Infant,
God made man.
You called your Apostle,
John, to be the Beloved;
the one who lay his head on your Heart
and saw the visions of your love.
Make our hearts like his, O gentle
Jesus:
zealous, faithful, chaste,
filled with love for our Eternal
Father
and our neighbour.
Today, let us pray that we may
seek to be like St John
abandoning ourselves to the Lord,
faithful even to the Cross.
